Josh Morgan was a vivacious University of Arizona student who tragically lost his life in a work related accident at the tender age of 20. His dedication to leadership, compassion for others, and devotion to his education inspired his mother to create the Josh Morgan Memorial Scholarship Fund (JMMSF) in his name. Through the University of Arizona Foundation, JMMSF gives students the opportunity to apply for a scholarship that is not financially based. Instead, the academic and extracurricular performance of applicants is evaluated. JMMSF provides students like Josh, (who can not afford to pay for college, but do not qualify for financial aid) another way to subsidize their education. With the support of the community, JMMSF hopes to provide another financial option for anyone who wishes to pursue their dreams through a college education. It is our dream that even though Josh may have died too young, it will not be in vain.
